Our history
We're Men's Huddle
The Men’s Huddle International is enriching boys and men’s lives. We use the powerful medium of a football huddle to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Our focus is on serving communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging boys and men to make a difference for Christ. We aim to seek God through Holy Spirit inspired worship, biblical preaching, individual & corporate prayer and the reading of God’s word.
The mission of The Men’s Huddle International is to help men overcome life’s challenges and prepare them for the coming of Jesus Christ.
- Our first event took place in a hotel conference room under (7) different tents where boys and men could go under for prayer. Under those tents supernatural miracles happen. Over 350 men attended this first even tent prayer session on a early Saturday morning in 2017. There were (7) tents inside the Marriott Hotel ballroom where men went under those anointed tents for prayer. The tents were Marriage, Finance, Career, Addiction, Salvation, Healing and Business.
- Another miracle our group working with All Pro Dad we were able to feed 5 high school football teams during this 2018 season. We provided love, prayers and food. The results at the end of the season was astonishing. Out of the 5 football teams we feed, four of the schools made the high school playoffs, one school had not been to the playoffs in 23 years, and two of the schools won state championships. Nothing short of miracles after miracles.
- We held the first ever 4 teams football classic event featuring top high school football teams in the state. Prior to the event more than 400 high school football players and coaches were provided a four-star dinner event. Following the classic game each of the schools athletic departments received $2,500 in funding from the Men's Huddle organization.
- Father's Day 2018 was held on the Washington Mall where Father's from around the United States came to pray a father's blessing over their son or sons.
- Going2College Made Easy, chartered a bus and vans to take a group of various high school football players to Richmond, Virginia to watch the NFL Washington Redskins practice. Following the practice the athletes were taken on a tour of the Virginia Union University.
- White House invitation in 2018 the Men's Huddle International was invited to a session on community development. We had seats for 16 men. Members of the Men's Huddle were able to meet with then-Vice President Pence and lay-hands and pray over his life.
- During the year of 2017-present Men's Huddle have supported missions around the world with funding and overseas missions.
- Men's Huddle and the National Football League Hall of Fame Academy have partnered and supported Daniel Buggs with the Atlanta Football Classic and the first ever-High School football Classic in the state of Virginia. In 2021 The NFL Hall of Fame and Men's Huddle will hold a High School Football camp in Virginia in August of 2021.
- July 27th Men's Huddle is the co-host of a Double Opportunity Day for Norfolk State University Head Football Coach Dawson and showcasing a Federal Government Seminar on secrets to winning federal government contracts.
